Our story ♥
In the early 1990’s, a heritage home was barged across the Georgia straight from Sidney, on Vancouver Island.
The previous owner had always liked the house, and luckily enough, she was contacted when it needed to be moved. It was then moved across the beach, jacked up 13ft, and a new lower floor was added with a garage and a turret.
The upper master bedroom is now what used to be the old living room. It still has the original floors, wood paneled walls, and river rock fire place, cozy as ever.
Now, we have named it “Avalon by the Sea” and have added a new Avalon seaside cottage at the top of the beautiful 10-acre property. We quite simply adore our family home and know you will too.
